Approach
Located in the Gera Serenity Building in Koregaon Park, this colonial era styled restaurant is a lovely South Indian place. It offers parking facilities and is also well connected, with public transport easily available in this area, making it easily accesible.
Ambience
As mentioned earlier, this restaurant has a very colonial-era feel to it: kalakari paintings on the wall, cable-knit teakwood chairs, vintage pieces of other decorative items and some soft lighting- makes you feel as if you've walked into Colonial India. The place is beautifully decorated, for lack of better words and very tastefully done. It almost gives you a royal like feel, that makes one appreciate the rich culture of India. The ambiance is quiet and great for those wanting to have conversations flow during their meals rather than loud music.
Food and Service
This restaurant specialises in South Indian and Mangalorean delicacies. There's Kolu Masiyal, kyma unday, jolada roti and other South Indian specialities from the Chettinad, Nellore, Malabar and Mysore regions of South India. It is that place where you go if you really want to enjoy some good and less beknownst, but tantalizing South Indian delicacies. There is also an eclectic and mouth watering array of dessert options available that are less known to North Indians but certainly deserve a place in all restaurants and not just South Indian restaurants. The staff is very friendly and well trained. They are efficient at their job and do it very dilligently.
