Jaisalmer is a desert region in the state of Rajasthan and on the edge of a desert lies the upmarket hotel by the name of Mariott Resort & Spa is close to the golden city. It is said to be at a distance of 2 KM from both ornate Jaisalmer Fort and the palaces of Patwon Ki Haveliyan and just about 3 KM from Jaisalmer train station. The architecture of Jaisalmer is built in Yellow Sandstone.
Ambience
Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa, being a resort which has Spa is able to have a temperature-controlled swimming pool. It has a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor lawn. The guests can take the benefit of using free Wi-Fi. One can find 3 fixture bathroom in the rooms while certain units at Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa also boast of a seating area. One can relax in the room while watching something on the flat screen RV which is connected to satellite channels. Besides TV, one can take advantage of the ironing facility and hairdryer. The hotel is known to be good for couples and they provide airport shuttle as well. Hence, one can host their wedding or related function and have guest being picked up from airport who would need airport shuttle.
Food and Service
Any hotel which has 3 star or above rating by the Hotel awarding body needs to have a 24*7 coffee shop which can act as a restaurant as long as it is 24*7 or in other words an all-day dining. Marriott Resort and Spa at Jaisalmer is no exception. The all-day dining restaurant features Indian and International cuisines and is known as The Jaisalmer Kitchen besides The Jaisalmer Kitchen, they have two other dining option. They are The Mithai Company which has a counter for sweet and savories which to wash can be downed with fine selection of teas and coffees. The third dining option is an only dinner restaurant, that is, it is operational only during night. It is rooftop restaurant by the name of Wyra. It offers griils and live cooking. Besides dining options, there is a bar by the name of Dues Bar which offers signature cocktail and a range of exclusive wines. Whether a property has more or less, large or small dining options. However, if the service by the staff is not on point, it falls flat. This properties staff’s is not just on point, but they go beyond their call of duty when need be. The staff is friendly yet professional. They seem to have imbibed the USP of Indian tourism of Athithi Devo Bhava meaning, guests are considered GOD (thought to thought translation).
