Approach
Located on the fifth floor of the MG Mall is this beautiful restaurant that would leave your insides burst with joy with its delicious food and services. It is just opposite of the Vivanta by Taj that is on MG Road, and not very hard to locate. Both parking facilities and an ample stream of public transport is available here.
Ambience
Tao Terraces is split into two places– one being a nice, upmarket dining space that you see as the first thing when you enter this restaurant and the other being the rooftop bar and lounge area. Both sections are fairly busy, especially on the weekends. And admittedly so– this restaurant does have quite the reputation for attracting a lot of people. The venue is finely decorated. It is modern and contemporary, the kind of decor and interior styles that you seen in magazines like the Architectural Digest. The whole place lights up in a golden hue as evening approaches and it is a sight to behold. Those elegant decor and interiors look even more regal and incandescent when these lights are turned on. It's a perfect ambiance to enjoy a glass of wine and be in the company of your friends and family.
Food and Service
The restaurant provides a host of Chinese, Korean, Thai and Japanese dishes. You can opt for the buffet if you want to try a variety of items and are super hungry. Or you can take the time to skim through their elaborate menu. For starters, you can go for dumplings that come in a variety of veg and non-veg options. There's sushi platters are also a great option to go for. There is a range of rice and noodles to pairs these up with. The dessert menu consists of a lot of items that are usually unheard of unless you're a person who has frequented loads of Asian restaurants and knows a great deal about Asian cuisine. The staff are very courteous. And even though the restaurant is always busy, the orders never come to you late.
